The days are getting colder, nights are getting longer: winter is coming. And that means ice skating! The canals don't always freeze over, but we need our ice skating fix. So there are always skating rinks to be found all over town (although nothing beats frozen lakes, rivers or canals), Floor17 will open the coolest one so far.

Saturday December 6th untill February, visitors of Floor17 (on top of the Ramada Hotel in West) can enjoy ice skating at the highest skating rink of Amsterdam at 85m altitude. The 75m2 ice skating rink will be open daily but check their site for opening hours.

Skates are provided by Floor17. The fee per person per hour is € 8,50 including a hot chocolate or mulled wine. Tram 13 will take you straight there, very worth the way west.
