Amsterdam | De Foodhallen

When I was in Lisbon this summer, they had this fantastic food court going on where you could eat everything from veggie sushi to tortillas to icecream to fresh pasta salads. There were business professionals, sunburnt tourists (me) and hip youngsters excitedly strolling past the different restaurants represented.

De Foodhallen

Now Amsterdam will have it's own food court, I will probably be one happy camper camping out there. De Foodhallen, in the o-so-hip tramremisse De Hallen, is aiming to open starting October. It will be a great addition to the cinema Filmhallen, the hotel, the restaurants/lunchrooms, schools and studio's that are already reciding in the beautifully restored building.

But what will you be eating?

A few of the names that will be serving: The Butcher, Wild Moa Pies, The Rough Kitchen, De Ballenbar, Le Big Fish (by chefs Robert Kranenborg and Richard van Oostenbrugge), Yogen Früz, Friska, Meneer Temaki, Green Brothers, Pink Flamingo, Bulls and Dogs, L’Entrecôte mobiel & Viêt View.

See you there!
