Inside | Amsterdam: The great escape to Vuurtoreneiland

Ahoy! Just letting you know we had the most amazing diner last night. Not only food-wise, but most of all because of the stunning location. We took a boat to Vuurtoreneiland, for a special summer restaurant.

Right in the midst of all the football madness, I took my sister on a boatride to Vuurtoreneiland (an island just outside Amsterdam). The restaurant residing there is semi-permanent. There's place for about 50 people, on the boat as well as in the restaurant, and it's booked solid every night this summer. However, they always leave 10 spots open for adventurers, unreservable.
