Inside | Amsterdam: this weekend

I know it's raining a lot, but even so it might be nice to get out and do some nononsense stuf in Amsterdam this weekend.

- Go to The Movies on the Haarlemmerdijk to see Dallas Buyers Club if you haven't seen it already. I saw it last night and was amazed by the story, but most of all be the performances. Also, Nebraska (the roadmovie by Alexander Payne) premieres on mondayevening. Should be worth a second trip.

- The Stadsarchieven (City Archives) just opened a Heineken exhibit for its 150th birthday. But maybe more interesting is the building itself.

- If you really don't want to go out. Stay in and throw a goulash party with the help of Goulash@Home.

I've had the pleasure of tasting their veggie one, but they also have great ones with beef or pork. It's gotten some raving reviews and my Hungarian friend loves it too (reminded him of the one his father used to make). So if you want something heartwarming, that'll be it.

Ok, now I'm hungry again. Enjoy your weekend. I'll be off to get some food. Love, Maaike
