This picture above was the first one I saw by Argentinian photographer Catalina Bartolome. I found it at an online exhibition years ago, saved it on my computer and kept it all this time. I came across it recently and decided to do some research on her. Turns out she made more interesting photo's, like the series Besos and the one where women hide their faces behind common objects. For me her photo's feel realistic and natural. They show real people, though they perform for her.
